The 3C's of an Adamsonian

Inside a Catholic institution, there walks a person who strives to do their best to cope with the daily challenges in life and as a student. Every day, a pupil has to face multiple tasks in their classroom, starting from their quizzes, seat works, assignments and exams. The professors and employees describe an adamsonian as courageous, humble, brave and strong. As people describe a pupil of adamson,
the institution embodies their 3C's; Charity, Competent and Character. The 3C's are the values of the students in the univeristy. From its students, professors and employees, Adamson Univeristy are charitable for the poor. They help the people in need especially the ones who are striving to survive in their daily lives. Adamsonians are known for their competencies  starting from academics and also athletics. Each student embodies the teachings of St. Vincent De Paul, thats why they have the character. With their patron saint's humble acts for the poor, students are influenced to do the same for their community or society. As we go through the life of an adamsonian, we have talked to some fellow students on how they strive and compete as a pupil of the institution.

Some students we talked to described  that being a Competent Adamsonian, you have to have the capacity to function or develop in a particular way. Being a college student inside this university, you have to be strong for yourself and for your future, you got to face hurdles that will move you to your success. He or she must accept the dares of the semester even though it requires sacrifice a little bit of sleep, an Adamsonian sees to it that he or she gets the job well done.

The second one is Charity or a Charitable Adamsonian, when he or she shows welfare on the society they are in, they manage to take notice of what action is needed to contribute to their surroundings. They are charitable not because they have a lot of money but they’d rather help than to see their fellowmen suffer from hunger, cold, and being sick. As it is being taught in the four corners of the classroom, students are encouraged to lend a helping hand for those who are in need, including in the academic related situations.

And lastly, the Character. They follow the teachings of their great patron saint, St. Vincent de Paul. These students also values how their professors see them. Adamsonians are respectful, not just because they want it back but because they take every person seriously. All in all, their characteristics are moulded to be strong, helpful, and courageous. These things make up an Adamsonian, including the school and the people in it.

A student might face a lot of trials in their days inside the school, but as long as he or she keeps that strong ground inside themselves, they’ll surely surpass those challenges. It might take a lot of energy and effort to surpass all, but believing in yourself as an Adamsonian, is the greatest thing you can bestow for yourself.
